Where can I get my black ballet slippers?

Slippers can be purchased at any dance store for about $12 – 15. Cloth or leather, either are acceptable although the leather ones may be closer to $30. If you’re lucky, Wal-mart sometimes carries them both for less than $10. Since little feet grow quickly, I also encourage that used slippers are sold or passed on to other students of Sunshine. Feel free to let me know that your are looking to sell or buy used, or place a sign at the door of our class.

When do we perform?

Performances usually take the place of a class (Wednesday classes will perform on Wednesday evenings) or on a Saturday. Please see the year at a glance calendar for our tentative schedule. Keep up to date on the quarterly newsletters with all of the finalized dates and information. Occasionally, special requests for performances may lead to performing on a different day. Performances are always optional and if you are unable to attend for any reason, please let your teacher know in advance.
